The cost of staging is always less than a price reduction or costs associated with carrying the mortgage, utilities and maintenance. There are many different levels of staging that go along with the price range of the home and areas to be furnished. Rearranged For Change offers a no charge bid appointment to get your custom staging proposal. We work with all price ranges and budgets!  Rent can range from $300.00-$3000.00 per month. 

What is the difference between decorating and staging?

Decorating showcases your personal taste, style and functionality for your family. Staging is depersonalizing to accent your home’s assets that ALL buyers can love. Staging addresses the focal point, photogenicness, traffic patterns, architectural details that might otherwise get overlooked.

What things can I do myself to help stage my house?

We suggest homeowners that occupy the home that they deep clean, declutter closets, depersonalize family photos, minor repairs complete, make sure paint is in good condition, carpets are cleaned, all light bulbs are working and are the same color in a fixture.  

How does it work and how long does it take to get a vacant home staged?

It starts with complimentary bid, you receive a written proposal within 24 hours, upon acceptance we schedule the staging day. The staging typically can be scheduled within 3-7 days and the project will be completed that day. 

How long does it take for an occupied staging consultation?

This appointment takes 1-2 hours with 2 representatives from Rearranged For Change. In that appointment we will walk through each space in your home offering suggestions to make your house the most marketable in the area. One team member from Rearranged For Change will take notes on our preprinted form. This will be left with you at the end of the consultation. Things that will be addressed will be curb appeal, decluttering, depersonalizing, furniture arrangement in each room, décor ideas, paint suggestions and much more! IF you need to rent some pieces from Rearranged For Change, we can give you a bid on the spot and arrange to have the rental items delivered on a second scheduled date.
